How do I best market X?
Just ask the question, "How do I best market X?" on any forum or of any so-called expert, and you'll get a hundred and one answers. But what exactly is the right answer ...
The problem with most answers to "How to market" questions is they don't consider your individual marketing objectives. Sure there are thousands of ways to market, but what about your budget, back end offers, customer lifetime value, and many more factors need to be considered.
Second, these answers don't consider that there isn't just one way, but a combination of ways to market anything. You'll have 3 to 5 really good ways to market anything, align this selection with your objectives and you've got a marketing plan.
Unfortunately most people don't see that you may need to test through a few hundred ideas before you find the handful that work for you. So when fishing for ideas, be wary of anyone who offers the "one big thing" that will help you sell more.
In truth, you'll need several marketing approaches working in cooperation with each other to provide the longest lasting results. No gimmicks or tricks necessary, just solid marketing principles.
