Sales Prospecting Ideas That Get You Started After A Holiday

Now that the holidays are over, it's time to get back to work. Are your sales people (or even you) having trouble getting started this year? It's not uncommon, often I'm asked, "How do I get started prospecting after a holiday?"

Prospecting is critical to sales as important as oxygen to humans. I'm telling you that if you're not prospecting you're not selling. Powerful sales results are created from a strong lead flow.

GOLD members know, that what's most important is that you are looking for the right prospective customers. Focus prospecting on finding profitable customers quickly ... but even a poor sales person with persistence in prospecting will make sales!

If prospecting is so important, then why are many of your sales people sitting around after holidays discussing their consumption rather than out producing? You know prospecting is an everyday activity, so how do you get started after a break:

  1. Trick yourself with gimmicks.
  2. Just take action with what you know.
  3. Use the idea formula to try new methods.
  4. Borrow from the classics.

The bottom line is that no matter what you do, do something. Too many sales people blow dollars with unfounded excuses. I could write a whole book about the reasons sales people don't prospect, you already know the excuses you use.

If what you have is worth a damn, then get out there and find buyers. Using this little jump start with the other methods I teach and you'll be off to a great year of profitable happy customers filling your lead qualification funnel. Want more ideas?
