Do Your Selling Efforts Include Sales AND Marketing?

When I say "selling effort" I'm talking specifically to both sales and marketing management.  So many of the "experts" miss the point that these two groups must work together -- perhaps they have little real world experience, but in business to business industrial markets it's critical that even marketing sells.

Sure, I can understand their mistake, because ...

Most advertising examples are from large companies with huge teams of sales representative, marketing managers, and production departments; plus plenty of money to spend.

But for you, the "regular guy", and if you're like most of my clients, you're struggling to make the most of the few resources you have.  Every dollar in advertising must produce a sale!

Maybe your owner thinks the world of their products and services even thinks they should sell just because they are so damn good -- so why fund a sales or marketing department?

Of course, your situation is unique, that's why I encourage you to ask questions.  But, from the people I've talked with, and my clients, strategies that produce maximum results are inclusive of both sales and marketing, both groups are part of a successful businesses selling effort.

Screw brand building ... that's great for Coca-Cola or IBM ... but even the million dollar company doesn't have the cash available these days to "build brand."  So say it with me, "I want sales and marketing that produces sales, not image."

After all, you can't take a fancy logo or pretty advertisement to the bank and deposit it.  Only selling efforts that close new opportunities pay the mortgage, salaries, and for the lifestyle you deserve.

Because many clients were having trouble with this "selling vs. branding" concept, I've created a course, "How B2B Firms Create Profitable Customers Quickly" -- If you want to attract profitable customers, then sign up for "How B2B Firms Create Profitable Customers Quickly" today.
